Requirements

  • Strong understanding of copywriting in a digital and print environment
  • Works well with a team
  • Familiar with the creative process
  • Working knowledge of writing software
  • Working Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Spellcheck/Grammar Programs
  • Complimentary skills: Proficiency in additional languages. Spanish is a big plus

Responsibilities

  • The Copywriter Intern, working under the guidance of the Sr. Copywriter and Creative Director, will be responsible for a wide range of copywriting mandates in a multidisciplinary environment
  • They will assist with the ideation and writing of the advertising and projects that need a fresh perspective
  • The intern will work closely with others to assist in ensuring copy integrity and alignment across all touch points
  • The copywriter intern must demonstrate attention to detail in storytelling, spelling, and grammar and have a uniquely creative mind
  • Assists with developing creative concepts
  • Helps provide copy input for advertising campaigns and new business pitches
  • Assists in the copywriting of work that is aligned with brands for film, print, digital and social as well as internal presentations
  • Carries out projects assigned to them and ensures high quality of the final product
  • Stays up to date with new innovations and industry trends
  • Refers to a work program and deadlines
  • Assists more experienced team members
