Requirements

  • Currently pursing a degree in Accounting of Finance
  • Interpersonal skills to handle differing personalities
  • Dynamic, outgoing personality along with a very positive attitude and desire to provide excellent support
  • Ability to interface well with all departments at all levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to work with the appropriate sense of urgency and have a drive for results
  • Highly self-motivated, persistent, dependable, and independent
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Knowledge of a computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with functional leaders across the company to evaluate progress towards Steel’s strategic and financial objectives
  • Prepare financial analyses for senior leadership that help frame opportunities and risks related to financial targets
  • Create data visualization in Tableau that provides actionable insights for leadership
  • Ad-hoc short-term projects related to model improvement, cost savings analysis, hiring plan reporting, competitor analyses, etc
  • Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities
  • Perform projects for a specific Operating Company depending on need and availability
