  • WRI is a growing organization, with experts and staff around the world. As we expand our programs and impact throughout our network, we are also enhancing our global fundraising capacity to resource our strategies. The Global Development Department (GDD) supports WRI programs and international offices with fundraising. While the GDD is organized into four teams grouped by fundraising sector: corporate, government, foundation, and individual philanthropy - this position will support the Corporate Relations team and private sector fundraising and impact. Every day, WRI’s global constellation of programs and offices works with dozens of Fortune 500 companies on a wide range of topics, from climate change to deforestation to protecting the oceans. The Corporate Relations team specializes in crafting impact-focused partnerships with leading companies to hasten progress across the sustainability agenda. This is a central role in WRI’s GDD and offers a valuable opportunity to learn about corporate sustainability, fundraising strategy, donor cultivation, and stewardship in a global impact organization. The position requires good coordination and administrative skills, familiarity with or a strong interest in working with industry-standard knowledge/customer relations management tools, ability to juggle numerous priorities, and an interest in learning about fundraising and corporate impact in a global context. If you are excited about the prospect of being at the cutting edge of WRI’s work with the private sector we’d like to hear from you!
