  • Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Responsibilities

  • Cost Estimation: Provide an estimate for new aircraft design and production, contribute to the decision of which design, material, manufacturing process, system solution, design or concept represents the best value for the development.
  • Gap Analysis: Perform an analysis to explain the difference between Costing estimates and suppliers quotes. The result will give Airbus levers to deal with suppliers in negotiations.
  • Modeling: Develop cost models (Additive Manufacturing, Machining, Composites, etc.)
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate findings and updates to various stakeholders, both verbally and in written form.
  • Learning and Development: Participating in training sessions to enhance skills in cost estimation, project management, and leadership.
  • Travel to other Airbus sites or suppliers if required.
