Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture, digital logic design, and semiconductor device physics.
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
  • Exposure to industry-standard EDA tools such as Synopsys or Cadence.
  • Some experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the research and design of CPU architectures.
  • Collaborate with a team of architects and engineers to define and develop new CPU features.
  • Analyze the performance of CPU designs and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of simulation models to evaluate new architecture ideas.
  • Present results and findings to the team and management.
