Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for increasing educational access, especially to computer science.
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work with colleagues, volunteers, and young adults from diverse backgrounds with respect, kindness, and a good sense of humor.
  • Strong orientation to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a larger staff team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and transport items around campus.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Opportunity open to all majors, with preference given to those studying social work, student affairs, the humanities, and the social sciences.
  • Availability to work limited evening and weekend hours, with most work happening during traditional business hours.
  • Ability to obtain Pennsylvania Act 153 clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the delivery of programs including, but not limited to:
  • Student relationship building and communication.
  • Data collection/evaluation activities
  • Event and field trip support
  • Coordination of student travel
  • Attend regular meetings with supervisor and team.
  • Administrative support of programs
  • Act as an ambassador for CS Pathways in the community as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned.
