Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Monitor security systems, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and antivirus software, to ensure the early detection of security issues.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of security awareness programs for employees.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of incident response procedures to address security incidents promptly.
  • Assist in the review and enhancement of security policies and procedures to align with industry best practices.
  • Work with the team to monitor and analyze security events using various tools to ensure a proactive approach to cybersecurity.
  • Work on tasks related to network security, including monitoring network traffic, implementing access controls, and analyzing network configurations for security risks.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures into the overall IT infrastructure and application development processes.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies. Contribute insights and recommendations for improving our security posture.
