Requirements

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the Summer 2024 internship
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Statistics, Physics or other related degree at an accredited university during internship
  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
  • Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
  • Students will be assigned to a specific group within the Carelon Digital Platforms organization based on skill set and need of the business. Graduate students should have experience and education in:
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner.
  • Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
  • Emerging topics in artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, conversational bots, and knowledge representation and reasoning
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
  • Experience in writing solutions using Python, R, Java, C/C++, C#, Angular, HTML
  • Working on public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Experience in frameworks: Nextjs, Nodejs, Cypress, Playwright, Tailwinds.
  • CI/CD: Gitlab, Github, K8s, AWS, GCP.
  • Reporting & Management Tools: Jira Cloud, Power BI, Adobe ( Indesign, Ai).
  • Knowledge of SAS SQL Databases, database modeling and other Querying languages
  • Text Analytics and Natural Language Processing, Sequence Labeling
  • Knowledge of Data science & Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning, Probabilistic and Statistical Learning Methods
