Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Research, or similar disciplines.
  • Specialised training or certification in Clinical Data Management (e.g., Clinical Data Management Certificate Program).
  • Coursework or certification in Data Management, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Clinical Trials Management.
  • Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements pertaining to clinical data management.
  • Additional coursework or certification in database management, statistical analysis software (e.g., SAS, R), and electronic data capture (EDC) systems may also be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data cleaning, resolve data queries, and conduct reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support database testing and maintenance efforts to uphold system functionality and efficiency.
  • Drive process optimisation initiatives to enhance data management workflows and procedures.
  • Maintain study databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for research purposes.
  • Conduct thorough data cleansing and quality control checks to maintain high standards of data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and ensure consistency across datasets.
  • Generate insightful data listings and reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for process improvement, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement.
  • Undertake additional general and administrative tasks as required to support team objectives and operations.
