Requirements

  • We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. You will be studying a post-graduate specialist degree (MSc or PHD) in a quantitative subject such as mathematics, engineering, physics, computer science, economics, or finance. Strong quantitative skills and the ability to express ideas verbally, mathematically, and through code is essential.
  • Above all, we’re looking for entrepreneurial people with a passion for the world of finance, who thrive in a diverse culture of innovation and agile thinking.
  • You will already have a record of outstanding academic achievement and you’re eager to continue learning at the same intensive rate. You’ll thrive on working in a highly collaborative environment with some of the best minds in banking.
  • Please note that to apply for our 2024 Internship Program you must graduate by Summer 2025. We accept those who have graduated within 12months of the program start date.

Responsibilities

  • Your internship starts with up to a week of valuable training and an introduction to Deutsche Bank, you’ll then be placed directly into a team based on your skills, studies, and interests.
  • Our interns learn about our business through on the job experience, you will gain a significant understanding of the work we do, our team culture, and will develop your quantitative skills through real life application.
  • You may find yourself working on one large project for the entire internship or a series of smaller projects, much as you would do as a full-time member of the team. Get ready to use your quantitative and programming skills to provide impactful research and implement real solutions.
  • You’ll also be exposed to a fast-paced, and agile culture giving you the opportunity to meet and engage with leaders across the organization.
  • Most importantly, you’ll understand and begin to develop the skills and expertise required to build a successful career with us.
