Requirements

  • The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in an engineering collegiate academic program for 2025/26 (either a junior, senior, or graduate student)
  • Demonstrated interest and proficiency in software development (through coursework, summer jobs, personal projects, etc.)
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing on major platforms such as GCP, AWS, Azure, or others
  • High level of professionalism
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, strong work ethic, team player, ability to build rapport and communicate confidently
  • Demonstrated record of individual initiative and originality in projects or research

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and creating software delivery tools, automation, and processes that are performant, scalable, secure, and reliable.
  • Help create user-friendly documentation and provide training for users of software delivery automation and tooling.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Technical Specialist, and other Agile team members to ensure that changes and enhancements to software delivery tools and automation meet all functional and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Participate in the research and scoping process for new and upcoming automation projects.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve dependency issues and clarify assigned projects and tasks.
  • Identify opportunities and suggest solutions for increasing the deployment frequency of software across all software product delivery streams.
  • Perform other duties as required.
