What is the main purpose of the Device & Product Performance Student Placement role?
The main purpose of the role is to support various injectables programmes and ensure adherence to Design Control as they move through development to commercialization.
What type of educational background is required for this position?
Candidates should be studying for a Bachelor’s of Engineering or Science.
What skills are necessary for this role?
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, the ability to learn new skills and work effectively in teams, strong technical writing and presentation skills, and proficiency with analytical and design software packages are necessary.
Is experience with specific software required for applicants?
Experience with analytical software packages such as Minitab or MATLAB and design software like Solidworks or Creo is desirable but not strictly required.
What kind of documentation will I be involved with in this role?
You will support the generation of key Design History File (DHF) documentation, including Device Requirements, Design Verification Testing Protocols/Reports, and Product Specifications.
Will I have the opportunity to work in a laboratory setting?
Yes, you will execute characterization testing and assist in equipment set-up and qualification in the on-site laboratory.
