Requirements

  • Proficiency with JavaScript and ReactJS
  • Knowledge and usage of Microsoft Azure a plus
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Students must be Local to Dallas Forth Worth Area and able to travel each day onsite to the Digital Factory during their internship.

Responsibilities

  • Professional Development:
  • Perform various coding exercises which would lead to Real World implications which will help generate value for the Sonepar Company.
  • Fix Defects, Clean Data, Research Features, and Assist Developers on various sprints throughout the internship.
  • Gain an understanding of the organizational structure of the Digital Factory and the Sonepar Company as it relates to Spark.
  • Acquire Insight into the Spark Application and how it benefits our Operating Companies
  • Partner with professional developers using their tutelage to enhance growth and network.
  • Example Projects within the Digital Factory:
  • Enablement of the US Digital Job Center Solution
  • Punchout integrating Customers ERPs with our E-Commence Application
  • Track and Trace Email Notifications per Order Status within Aftersales
  • Setting up the Cloud Infrastructure of the Spark Application
  • Integration of Springfield Customer Data into the Spark Application
  • Receive on-going coaching to enhance coding, communication, leadership, presentation, and develop department specific competencies.
