Description
- A chance to work for the iconic Island Records at their head office in London in an exciting frontline role. This role is primarily focused on one of the most cutting-edge aspects of a modern record label; the delivery & attribution of our music video content, as well as user-generated content (UGC).
- You’ll work closely with the Audience & Marketing teams to deliver & optimise the label’s music video content, as well as helping to facilitate Island’s content claiming & UGC strategy.

Responsibilities
Be Administrative
- Being the point person for music video delivery, managing the process of delivering content via the UMG system
- You’ll be responsible for optimising content within the respective VEVO & YouTube dashboards to ensure that videos attract maximum views and engagement
- Working with A&R and the rest of the Audience Team to select & recommend the optimal TikTok timecodes for our repertoire
- Own & manage the green listing process for all Island releases across relevant channels (TikTok, Meta, YouTube), in conjunction with the Audience Team
- You’ll be a go-to when it comes to video specifications; advising on best practice for thumbnails, aspect ratio, resolution, etc
- Updating relevant internal systems to reflect rights positions and maintaining contracts databases and archiving systems
- General administration & diary management
Be Operational
- Ensuring rights are managed and processes are followed to ensure videos go live on time
- Assisting the Audience & Marketing teams by ensuring content is fully optimised once delivered
- Ensuring that all content is claimed & attributed to rightsholders accordingly
- Proactively enforce best practice when it comes to optimising video content
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is a pro-active and organised individual, with the passion & drive needed to ensure deadlines are met, even against the odds. An interest in video formatting and YouTube optimisation is preferable, a keen willingness to learn those things is essential.

- Passionate about music with a desire to work and progress in the industry
- A hard-working and enthusiastic self-starter
- Highly organised and able to prioritise
- A track record of working to strict deadlines and maintaining a high standard of attention to detail
- A quick learner who can adapt to the changing market & keep calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels within the business.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as the YouTube ecosystem
- A passion for video content and a keen eye for detail
