Requirements

  • At least 16 years old at time of internship.
  • Available to work full-time onsite for four consecutive weeks (July 7-August 1, 2025).
  • High school senior graduating from high school prior to program start date.
  • Live and attend high school within 50 miles of Redmond, Washington.
  • Completed pre-calculus, an equivalent, or 3 consecutive years of math by the start of the program.
  • Member of or participant in one of the following Microsoft-sponsored organizations:
  • Computing for All
  • College Success Foundation
  • Rainier Scholars
  • Technology Access Foundation
  • UW STEM Upward Bound
  • Washington MESA
  • Your application is not considered complete without the following information at the end of your resume document:
  • List of any colleges/universities to which you have applied and/or been accepted.
  • Intended major(s).
  • Please share if you are a member of or affiliated with any extracurricular and/or academic support organization(s) (e.g., a Microsoft-sponsored non-profit organization) and provide 1-2 sentences about your involvement.
  • In 500 words or less, please tell us about a time you worked with others to complete a school, group, or community project or task on a topic you were not familiar with. Please include information on the project, the actions you took, results of those actions and any lessons learned along the way.
