What is the application deadline for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Internship?

How long is the internship program?
The duration of the summer program is 11 weeks.
What are the available program date options for the internship?
The available program date options are Option 1: June 2nd – August 15th, and Option 2: June 9th – August 22nd.
Will interns be required to work in the office?
Yes, selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular schedule based on the intern manager's in-office timings.
What is the hourly pay rate for the internship?
The pay rate is $19 per hour USD for undergraduate interns and $25 per hour USD for graduate-level interns.
Do interns need to receive academic credit for the internship?
Academic credit is not required; however, Warner Bros. Discovery will provide necessary documentation for school credit if desired.
What qualifications are necessary to apply for the internship?
Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university program, be a rising Junior or Senior undergraduate student (or a graduate student for the DEI Pipeline Program), maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above, and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work visa sponsorship.
What skills are preferred for applicants?
Preferred skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiarity with Canva and Hoot Suite, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Are there any opportunities for networking during the internship?
Yes, interns will have access to top-level executives, engage in professional development seminars, participate in intern-exclusive events, and can network with industry-leading professionals.
Will there be any mentorship provided during the internship?
Yes, interns will receive mentorship from experienced industry professionals and entertainment veterans.
Are there any restrictions on who can apply based on immigration status?
Yes, Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship now or in the future.
How will the interview process be conducted?
Interviewing will take place from February through mid-April, and candidates whose experiences and interests match an open internship position will be contacted.
