Responsibilities

  • The Industrial Engineer Intern will make key contributions to the Packaging VS by taking the lead on several engineering projects and assisting Industrial Engineers with a variety of projects to include but not limited to:
  • 5S specific projects
  • table area: need new workbench, flow, std work, floor marking, etc.
  • cubicle area, create new layout, remove empty cubicles maximize the space
  • Building 16 PKG material kanban, minimums and maximums
  • Review all material stored in PKG1, based on consumption propose mins and max,
  • re-organize as needed, add visual management (green/red levels),
  • label warehouse racks accordingly
  • Support Capex Engineering project (samples, testing, docs, supplier meeting etc.)
