  • As a Hackathon and Incubation Programs Intern, you'll be at the heart of innovation, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology being built on Algorand. From a 1000 ft view, this is about bringing brilliant minds together, fostering groundbreaking ideas, and accelerating the path from ideation to reality. You'll be supporting hackathon program coordination, engaging with accelerators, and supporting in shaping the incubation phase on Algorand. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the measurable impact of their work at the end of the summer.

  • Passion for Innovation: A genuine interest in web3.0 technology, innovation, and the startup ecosystem will make the job more fulfilling and help in understanding the needs and motivations of the participants.
  • Understanding of the Web3.0 Tech Ecosystem: A general understanding of the technology landscape, including key players, emerging startups, and innovation trends, can be very beneficial.
  • Project Management Skills: Being able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders efficiently is crucial. Good organizational skills will help keep everything on track.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: The ability to work well in a team, as well as with external partners and participants, is key. Collaboration is at the heart of making any program a success.

Area of Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive agenda for hackathons, including workshops, speaker sessions, and coding challenges.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, mentors, and industry leaders to contribute content or participate in a hackathon program.
  • Work with sponsors and partners to integrate their technologies or challenges into the hackathon content.
  • Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders on the content's effectiveness and engagement.
  • Use feedback to iterate and improve future program content, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful.
  • Work with accelerators to evaluate acceptance criteria and effectively communicate to potential applicants.
  • Facilitate promotion of Accelerator programs to potential teams.
