  • The Hearst Magazines Summer Internship Program is a paid, full time 11-week program for undergraduate rising Juniors & Seniors. From June 3 – August 16, 2024, our interns will gain an immersive, hands-on experience with one of the top publishers in the world.  
  • In addition to working with their assigned team on important projects, interns will gain access to Hearst’s diverse professional network by participating in intimate learning sessions and join fun peer networking activities throughout the summer. Program participants will also leverage Hearst’s resources to work on and present a group project to senior leaders at the conclusion of the program.

  • Road & Track Magazine has served the car enthusiast for more than 75 years. In print and digital today, we bring automotive dreams to life through top-notch storytelling, excellent reporting, and unbeatable original photography. Our staffers, based in New York, Detroit, and California, spend their time driving the newest performance cars in exotic locations, talking to automotive icons, and monitoring the car industry to keep our audience up to date with the latest car news.

Requirements

  • Driver’s license and ability to drive manual is a plus
  • News writing or school paper experience is a plus
  • Must have some level of interest in cars
  • Well-versed in social media platforms and best practices is a plus
  • Video editing skills is a plus
  • Willing to travel if necessary
