  • The intern will work in an analytical laboratory analyzing wastewater, sludge, and biosolids samples using analytical instrumentation following standard operating procedures under the supervision of an Environmental Chemist. The intern is expected to learn the workings of an Illinois Environmental Protection Agency accredited laboratory, quality assurance and quality control requirements of analyses, data reporting, and sample handling from receipt to disposal using a Laboratory Information Management System.
