This role will be in-person and primarily based in Plymouth, Michigan.

The main focus of the EH&S Intern position is to assist the EH&S Director with projects and implementation related to equipment/machine safety, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, safety inspections, and risk assessments at all Powertrain Americas plants.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates should be a student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or another related field.
Is travel required for this position?
Yes, the EH&S Intern may be required to travel 10-20% of the time.
What kind of skills are preferred for this internship?
Preferred skills include basic knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements and basic PC skills, specifically in Microsoft Office.
What types of tasks will the intern be responsible for?
The intern will be responsible for creating and updating EH&S procedures, implementing safety programs, completing safety reports, assisting with data entry into the Enabolon system, and conducting EH&S audits among other duties.
