Responsibilities

  • Perform everything needed to do electronics piece part testing while they are being exposed to radiation including:
  • Writing detailed test plans and reports
  • Designing eval testing circuits and boards
  • Designing any mounting fixtures needed for said eval boards
  • Traveling to testing locations
  • Capturing and analyzing data
  • Perform a radiation analysis given a bill of materials which includes:
  • Finding and interpreting radiation data sources
  • Performing event rate calculations
  • Documenting said data and event rates to get the radiation performance of the BOM
  • Help inform design changes to help the BOM’s radiation performance
