Requirements

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)

  • Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered

Responsibilities

  • Support the ORA Engineering team and the Senior Electrical Engineer in daily tasks
  • Become familiar with various Cenovus document management applications (HDMS, FusionLive, etc)
  • Interface with other managing departments (maintenance, production, drilling, etc.) to complete tasks as required
  • Support the management/development of Student Task List and ORA Student Handbook
  • Assist in creating and modifying operation documents such as Management of Change procedure, Flow Systems Application, Document Control procedures, etc
  • Assist in creating and modifying various engineering documents such as Block Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, and System Descriptions
  • Assist in tracking operational readiness activities through to closure
  • Assist in developing the SAP equipment structure, tag locations, etc
  • Assist in developing the Master Tag Register
  • Assist with receiving project engineering deliverables including vendor documents and engineering registers
  • Assist with scoping and soliciting proposals for brown field modification investigations
  • Assist with completing interface coordination actions and assist with completing risk identification actions
