  • Apex Clean Energy is currently seeking a summer associate to support a variety of projects, activities, and operations that occur within the renewable energy business. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the workplace.
  • This candidate will primarily be focused on working on our internal operations electrical engineering tasks. They will then take their learnings to organize and optimize our current procedures.


  • Graduate degree candidate with a strong academic record; MSEE/PHD candidate preferred
  • Highly attentive and detail oriented.
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), including SharePoint.
  • Power Systems and Electricity Markets
  • Independent System Operations (ERCOT, MISO, PJM, ISO-NE)
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects within tight deadlines.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Expected graduation date in December 2024 or May 2025

Area of Responsibilities



  • Reviewing PRC faults or relays (Also other regulatory requirements)
  • Maintain backups for configurations and settings and develop that process (RTAC, Relays)
  • Shadow Engineering Manager in commissioning and help review documentation and bazefield onboarding.
  • Assist in management of standardized document repository
