Requirements

  • Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Studying in the penultimate year of a relevant Engineering, Scientific or Numerate degree subject (BEng / BSc minimum)
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of basic electronic circuits
  • Some experience with electronics simulation or design tools
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative
  • Team working skills

Responsibilities

  • As an Electronics placement student you will be expected to support the design of state-of-the-art Systems that deliver world-class performance. You will be working and learning alongside a multi-disciplinary team of 35 Electronics Engineers, who are some of the most experienced Engineers in the industry.
  • Your role could include requirements capture and analysis through to defining the system architecture and building, testing and verifying that the solution meets the customer’s requirements.
  • The role requires working with the team to optimise the design through trade-offs, studies, analyses, modelling and simulation to produce a best-in-class competitive product.
