Requirements

  • Master's degree in structural or architectural engineering
  • Working knowledge of industry software, including SAP2000, ETABS, Ram, Risa 3-D, PCA Software, Revit and AutoCAD
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience, including new design and renovation

Responsibilities

  • As a structural engineer at Thornton Tomasetti, you perform structural analysis, design and detailing for all types of buildings, using a variety of materials and building codes. Coordinating design work with in-house colleagues as well as design professionals, such as architects and engineers, from other disciplines is critical for success.
  • With the support of your team, you also prepare construction documents within a BIM environment. Our emphasis on collaboration and innovation creates a culture where you can use your skills while building on them to gain new expertise. In this role you will gain hands-on experience by collaborating on rewarding projects such as cultural buildings, office buildings, and healthcare design in addition to renovation work in a consulting environment.
