Requirements

  • Junior, Senior or recent mechanical engineer graduate.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy concepts and technologies.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, circuits design, knowledge of power system, generation, transmission and distribution.
  • Understanding of electrical standards, codes and regulation applicable to renewable resources.
  • Self starter.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical Skills.
  • Effective communicator for collaborating with international multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to details in design and documentation.
  • Time management and organizational abilities to meet project deadlines, proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategic analysis of the RTO / ISO interconnection procedures, and transmission system
  • Participate in managing interconnection requests, review NYISO / PJM study results
  • Participate in managing onshore and offshore route, substation and cable design.
