Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or civil engineering technology
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & MicroStation/Autocad
Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
What we prefer you bring to our firm:
CAD experience
Special interest in bridge and/or transportation engineering
Local candidates preferred, no relocation assistance provided
Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.

Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.

Responsibilities

Copies sketches, layouts, and drawings prepared by others on to CAD.
Will learn proficiency in operation of computer-aided drafting and design input station.
Assignments of increasing difficulty will be submitted as proficiency is increased.
Understand and follow the company's standard CAD procedures for levels, line styles, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
Individual is flexible and may work with numerous project teams to help in project completion.
Maintain neat and orderly work area that will allow access to project information to other team members.
