Requirements

  • Essential:
  • Pursuing a Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Familiarity with vehicle and powertrain systems
  • Knowledge and experience of MATLAB, C++, Python and/or ROS
  • Good communication skills in written and verbal English
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Highly motivated with a proactive attitude towards learning and new technologies
  • Preferable:
  • Awareness of systems development lifecycle
  • Understanding of vehicle control modules, E/E architecture, and vehicle systems
  • Familiar with vehicle features calibration, vehicle testing, data collection and post-processing
  • Knowledge and experience of Tensorflow, Pytorch or similar deep learning libraries
  • Knowledge of simulation and validation tools (e.g. CarMaker, AVL Cruise-M)
  • Experience using Vector tools (e.g. CANalyzer, CANape) or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • The Engineering Intern will work with other team members to deliver the projects according to plan. This will include the some of the following key activities according to project scope:
  • Develop vehicle and powertrain systems according to requirements, test and calibrate the implementation on a physical/virtual environment.
  • Develop test plans and test cases for vehicle and powertrain features.
  • Develop vehicle and powertrain models and perform relevant simulation activities.
  • Plan, conduct and evaluate vehicle and systems tests in virtual environments (including SiL, HiL, simulation), on test tracks and public roads
  • Report and present projects activities
