Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)
  • Desired Skills:
  • At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application
  • Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)
  • Previous applicable internships
  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Passion for engineering and a curiosity for innovation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our dynamic engineering teams on real projects.
  • Gain exposure to various aspects of Navistar's engineering operations.
  • Assist in design, testing, analysis, and problem-solving activities.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh perspectives.
  • Learn from experienced engineers through mentorship and guidance.
