Summer Internship



  • TranSystems’ Boston, Massachusetts office has an opening in the Summer of 2024 for a Civil Engineering student interested in learning career skills through assisting our experienced engineers. This position is open to students currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Master of Science in Civil Engineering program with a graduation date in 2025 or 2026. This position includes structural design, rehabilitation, and inspection of bridges and tunnels, along with the preparation of load rating reports, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates. In addition, duties may include construction inspection services. Day to day assignments and technical guidance will be provided by Project Engineers and Project Managers. Assignments may involve travel within the continental United States.


  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in the Civil Engineering field at an ABET accredited university.

  • Assist in the performance of bridge and tunnel inspections throughout MA and possibly throughout the US.
  • Assist in the preparation of bridge and tunnel inspection reports.
