Requirements

  • Operates as a team player yet comfortable working independently to complete work assignments
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills combined with analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrates an ability to gather and process information and present in a concise manner through Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, product quality and attention to detail
  • Has a passion for learning in a diverse and ever-changing environment and a drive to increase knowledge of risk management
  • Related ERM education or work experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • This work term will provide you the opportunity to learn from and assist the ERM Team on a wide range of initiatives. During this work term, you will:
  • Work with the support of ERM management to research emerging risks, perform environmental scans, and monitor identified risks
  • Assist in the management of risk events, and apply continuous improvement of the risk events management process
  • Support Crisis Management program enhancements and coordinate insurance requests
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned
