Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
  • Requires understanding of basic AutoCAD (experience with ArcGIS a plus),
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills,
  • Willingness to assist with field sampling and oversight,
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction,
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, policies, and programs are a plus.
  • Education and Experience:
  • In progress toward earning a bachelor’s degree (minimum) in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Specific coursework or exposure to one or more of the following:
  • Geochemistry
  • Statistics
  • Hydrology
  • Modeling
  • Contaminant Remediation
  • Waste Management

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Engineers and Geologists in collection and evaluation of environmental sampling data, preparation of calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications as well as other documents for evaluation and reporting of environmental impacts to the soil and groundwater, and development of cost-effective approaches to mitigate contamination and allow property redevelopment.
  • Preparing and editing tables in Excel and drawings in AutoCAD software,
  • Completing other engineering/administrative duties as required.
