Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering, focusing on environmental engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in environmental engineering software and tools.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting environmental assessments, including site investigations and environmental impact assessments.
  • Collect and analyze environmental data, such as soil, water, and air samples, using appropriate testing methods and equipment.
  • Assist in designing and implementing remediation plans for contaminated sites, including soil and groundwater remediation strategies.
  • Support the development of water resources management plans, including stormwater management, wastewater treatment, and water conservation measures.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, environmental permits, and regulatory compliance documents.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable solutions for environmental challenges.
  • Perform other engineering tasks and support the environmental engineering team as needed.
