What are the primary responsibilities of the Environmental Intern?
The primary responsibilities include conducting field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, performing sampling or testing, assisting other field and laboratory personnel, transporting equipment and specimens, cleaning equipment and work areas, and gradually taking on increased responsibilities and training.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A high school diploma and a BS degree in progress in a science or related field (such as environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology) are required. The ideal candidate should have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
