What are the general responsibilities of the Environmental Intern?
The Environmental Intern will conduct field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates.
What essential roles and responsibilities will the intern have?
The intern will perform sampling or testing as directed, provide assistance to field and laboratory personnel, transport equipment and specimens, assist in equipment set-up, clean equipment and work areas, and assist other technicians or professional staff with routine tasks.
What is the educational requirement for this position?
The candidate must have a high school diploma and be pursuing a BS degree in a science or related field such as environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology, ideally with less than one year remaining to complete their degree.
How is training structured for the intern?
The intern will be placed in a progressively increased role of training and responsibility in work assignments.
