Responsibilities

  • The position is approximately 90% field work and 10% office work in support of a one or more project sites in New England.
  • Field activities include logging soil borings, oversight of groundwater monitoring well installations and collecting soil, groundwater, soil vapor, air, surface water and sediment samples as well as documenting field activities.
  • Remote office activities include analysis and interpretation of analytical results and the preparation of field summary reports under the supervision of the Field Lead or a Senior Scientist.
  • Will travel to project sites in Northeast and surrounding states; approximately 50% overnight travel.
  • Field activities may require working in unfavorable weather conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures, including WSP’s safety conscious culture.
