What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is scheduled to last 12 weeks, starting on May 19th, 2025, with some flexibility in the individual start date.
Where is the internship located?
The internship will be based in our Merrimack, NH office.
What percentage of the internship involves field work?
The position entails approximately 90% field work and 10% office work.
What types of activities will I be involved in during the internship?
Interns will participate in field activities such as logging soil borings, overseeing groundwater monitoring well installations, and collecting samples of various environmental media. Office activities include analyzing data and preparing field summary reports.
Is travel required for this internship?
Yes, the position requires travel to project sites in New England, with approximately 50% overnight travel expected.
What qualifications are required to apply for the internship?
Applicants must be actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later. Additionally, candidates must be 18 years or older and have strong communication and computer skills.
Are there preferred qualifications for applicants?
Preferred qualifications include enrollment in a Master's or PhD program in a related field, OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification (training may be provided), and First Aid & CPR certifications.

Is there any requirement regarding health and safety policies?
