Requirements

To join our team, you will need the ability to analyse balance sheets, income statement, and cash flows statement at first. There are also a number of essential qualifications such as
Good verbal and written communication / presentation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
Solid time management skills.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Computer skills – word processing / spreadsheets.
Applicants to the Mizuho 2024 Intern Programme will ideally be in their penultimate year of undergraduate study and be available for permanent employment from September 2025.

Responsibilities

As an intern in the Country & Corporate Research Team, you will be involved in analysing the economic and political risks of the countries in which Mizuho Bank operates in the EMEA region, providing effective industry and/or company analysis, identifying strengths and risks, competitive positions within industry sectors, and preparing cash flow projections as well as presenting the research report effectively to managements.
