Responsibilities

  • Support the site HO Services with the financial management of budgets and forecasting
  • Work with the disciplined engineers, identify redundant services and systems within our main manufacturing facility at Broughton. Contribute to the strategy for each system removal, ensuring any risks are identified and collated on the Airbus ARM tool (Risk Management)
  • Develop asset strategies for the specific service deliverables. The initial focus will be on external pump stations and ventilation systems ensuring all future projects have clear and aligned specifications to protect and deliver total cost of maintenance
  • Working with the technical services ensures the delivery of all technical services via the service providers to the Airbus sites
  • Providing technical support into capital and maintenance projects and operational asset performance ensuring all legal and H&S Compliance
  • Manage maintenance of suppliers and measure their performance to ensure delivery on time, quality and cost
  • The role covers all facilities management and technical services covering mechanical and electrical engineering
  • You shall provide support with specialist engineering advice to the wider Facilities Management and Real Estate project teams and hard services (maintenance) to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices
  • Airbus has strong sustainability objectives of which Facilities Management and Real Estate have a key role in ensuring the infrastructure, controls and objectives are supported
  • Assist in the general preparation for Opex and Capex budgets, collating information, data and costs to support the capital investment cases
  • Identify and agree Key Performance Indicators, such as maintenance induced downtime or response to breakdown, to report to customer representatives
  • Identify and support the implementation of energy / carbon emission and continuous improvement projects to support the Airbus Sustainability objectives
