What will I be doing as a Fall 2024 Intern in the National Political Advocacy Department, Electoral?
As an intern in the Electoral team, you will be responsible for tracking and organizing electoral data, coordinating meetings, conducting research on candidates or electoral opportunities, and engaging in special projects as assigned. Additionally, you will be expected to center principles of equity, inclusion, and belonging in all your work.
What skills are required for this internship position?
The ideal candidate for this internship should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a commitment to the mission of the ACLU. Additionally, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential.
Who will I be reporting to as an intern in the Electoral team?
As an intern in the Electoral team, you will be reporting to the Electoral Strategist and supporting the strategy and implementation work of the Deputy Director for Candidate Races.
