Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns, including:
  • Research and contact influencers, then mail books/packages to them
  • Suggest and contact potential brands to partner with
  • Set up sweepstakes and mail prizes
  • Create organic and engaging content for social media
  • Take photos
  • Film and edit videos
  • Write captions
  • Schedule content
  • Create graphics
  • Create graphics for authors and retailer sites
  • Update book pages and sections of Hachette website
  • Monitor retailer sites to ensure book and author data are accurate
  • Maintain NetGalley and Goodreads, and manage L,B Marketing Generic Inbox
  • Perform administrative duties, such as:
  • Process warehouse orders
  • Track shipping
  • Create galley orders
  • Schedule meetings
  • Create weekly reports

The internship program runs from mid-September to December 20, 2024.

What will be the weekly hours for this internship?

Interns are expected to work between 20-28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Is this internship paid?

Yes, the pay rate for this internship is $16 per hour.

Where will the internship be located?

The internship is an on-site position based in our New York office with a two-day per week hybrid schedule (Mondays and Tuesdays in the office, Wednesdays and Thursdays working from home).
