Requirements

  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2025 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.
  • Currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, network engineering or other technical disciplines.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as troubleshooting basics (e.g., ping, traceroute, curl, netstat) and routing protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, PHP, shell, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and cross-functional teams to complete network projects based on prioritizations. Assist in the operations of the Sirius XM Pandora 24/7 network. Help build the next generation of media consumption platform.
  • On any given day, you might be:
  • Working on cross-team projects such as office network upgrades and data center consolidations
  • Troubleshooting network routing, switching, and wireless protocols
  • Provisioning SSL certificates for listener facing services
  • Automating support tasks and improving the team’s ability to monitor the network
