Requirements

  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by September 2026 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship as well as broadcasting schools with one-year programs that provide certificates of completion.
  • Prior internship or working experience in marketing/entertainment/digital media a plus.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or a similar tool.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and motion graphics software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective video and graphic requirements.
  • A keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and the ability to work effectively and collaborate with multiple people.
  • Strong copywriting, grammar, proofreading and editing skills.
  • Love for podcasts and think more people should be listening to them.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Develop social strategy to create cohesive brand unity across channels through tone of voice, consistency in asset creation, and holistic brand identity.
  • Edit short form podcast video clips with graphics or captions as needed for various social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Assist in the creation of other written or graphic content for social media.
  • Ensure all assets created are aligned with podcast network or show brand.
  • Stay up to date with trends and the latest social media best practices.
  • Help define podcast social and video workflow.
  • Assist podcast marketing team with building social media marketing strategies for new show launches, identifying industry trends, and tracking competitors.
  • Analyze performance of social media posts; synthesize and share learnings with wider team on a regular cadence.
  • Participate in team meetings and creative collaboration.
  • Perform other duties as required.
