Responsibilities

  • The Finance Intern is responsible for complex daily work within a wide range of financial disciplines relating to production across the site.
  • The intern supports day-to-day operations by performing SOX Controls and supporting education of operations; analysis of financial reports and investigation into anomalies; doing so by working closely with Analysts and Controllers to implement process improvement and automation.
  • They will have exposure to a growing, highly experienced team, excited about the industry and our role within the new factory.
  • This role will also focus on inventory projects.
  • Learn about SOX Controls – their intent and importance in the business.
  • Exposure to performance of SOX Controls and how the results can be used to improve the business through cross functional education.
  • Develop knowledge of business processes; design/improvement, implementation, and review.
  • Experience in preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly financials and operational reporting.
  • Gain an understanding of US GAAP and German GAAP, and what they mean to the manufacturing industry.
  • Build upon communication skills and learn how to develop successful working relationships – cross functionally, with management and across team members.
  • Learn how to perform flux and variance analysis, and investigate anomalies.
  • Understand the importance of finance in the manufacturing industry.
