What is the primary purpose of the Foreign Pharmacy Grad - International Pharmacy Intern role?
The primary purpose of the role is to enhance the professional development of Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates by allowing them to complete their required US Internship hours and develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a retail pharmacy environment.
What qualifications are required to apply for this position?
Applicants must have a Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy, an active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where the district is located, and must have successfully passed the FPGEE and TOEFL.
How long do I have to complete the required US Internship hours?
You are required to complete the required US Internship hours within 18 months of starting the program.
What is expected regarding obtaining Pharmacist licensure?
You must obtain Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based within 120 days of completing the required US Internship hours.

Yes, you will complete a mixed modality learning plan that includes a curated learning experience utilizing your pharmacy knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, workflow management, and supporting the pharmacy manager.
Is experience required for this position?
The required prior relevant work experience is 0 to 3 years, while 3 to 5 years is preferred.
