Requirements

  • You should be a graduate who has good verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas simply and clearly, the ability to develop good working relations.
  • Have good technical skills and the ability to understand new technologies and software quickly.
  • You should have the ability to prioritise, have good organisational skills.
  • You should also have experience conducting research. Eg. through dissertation projects, group research assignments, or coursework. This could include designing research methodologies, gathering and analysing qualitative or quantitative data, and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

  • Support our User Experience (UX) researchers in delivering high-quality user research activities for the University of Exeter’s digital products.
  • Assist with user research, user-testing sessions, surveys, and other research activities to help the University understand user needs and improve digital services.
  • Document and maintain research assets, making them useful for ongoing projects.
  • Work within a team of designers, researchers, and product managers to support a user-centered development process.
  • Gain an understanding of Digital Transformation and a deep insight into user centred design.
