Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time during the Summer (approximately May- August)
  • Pursuing a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related degree
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • QBe willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assigned

Responsibilities

  • Support power, industrial, and infrastructure groups
  • Repair geotechnical reports and specifications
  • Review and check design calculations
  • Minor foundation and steel design
