What is the primary responsibility of a Geotechnical Intern at Terracon?
The primary responsibility is to conduct field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates.
What educational background is required for this position?
A high school diploma and a BS degree in progress in a science or related field (environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, geology) are required. The ideal candidate will have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
What types of tasks will I assist with as a Geotechnical Intern?
You will assist with sampling or testing as directed, help field and laboratory personnel, transport equipment and specimens, clean equipment and work areas, and support other technicians or professional staff on routine tasks.
