Responsibilities

  • Learning the functionality of Helvar products by first focusing on unit and integration testing activities and debugging problems in software
  • Specification of individual test cases, including pre- and post-conditions with expected results
  • Designing, implementing and executing test automation scripts, and updating manual test cases
  • Using test automation frameworks, such as pytest or Playwright
  • Working with System Testers and Software Engineers to find solutions
  • Once competency is high enough take part in developing the product and writing the software
  • Work with the team to break down epics to stories and sub-tasks and provide effort estimates
  • Show progression on assigned tasks through demo
  • Documentation of design
  • Participation in peer design / code reviews
