Requirements

  • Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
  • Undergraduate: Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited institution.
  • Post Undergraduate: Earned a bachelor’s degree within the past 12 months. Eligible for an internship period of up to one year.
  • Graduate: Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a master’s degree program from an accredited institution.
  • Post Graduate: Earned a master’s degree within the past 12 months. Eligible for an internship period of up to one year.
  • Graduate + PhD: Completed master’s degree and enrolled as PhD student from an accredited institution.
  • Additional Required Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate will have completed at least two years of education and is currently enrolled in a PhD program (or will be enrolled as of fall 2024).
  • The candidate should be studying machine learning, potentially within a computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering graduate program. Experience with machine learning and software development is required.
  • The candidate should have a strong motivation to do and publish high-impact research work.

  • Numpy
  • Scipy
  • SQL
  • Scientific analysis of real-world empirical data
  • Deep Learning
  • Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs)
  • Neural network pruning
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • LaTeX
  • At least one publication in machine learning is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively developing modular approaches to engineering intelligent systems
  • Training, calibrating, and evaluating AI modules and systems
  • Assisting in experimental design and execution
  • Engaging in collaborative development of journal and conference manuscripts, technical papers, and project reports
